Sheer unbridled happiness.
Yes, unbridled
His collar is almost off
One HAPPY dog.

Here is a nice cuddly feline
I found it in a rather large enclosure in our local zoo.
I was rather lucky as there are lots of hiding spots for him to lurk in and room enough for a good run.
Then he can come to the smorgasbord viewing area – I mean the glass window where he can look look at potential prey.

(Sorry I have been remote and not visiting your entries these past few weeks – I have been having eye problems – floaters and stuff. I am learning to cope now.)
I did not go into the main people-crush this year for the Australia Day celebrations.
Which gave me the chance to snap a picture of the giant Australain flag being flown along the Swan River.

Sorry about this week’s lateness. I had a bit of a family emergency.
You could call it a prickly situation.
Like this Thorny Devil which looks very nasty but all the thorns just press into its body.
Unlike so many other thorns.

Instead of going fishy with my “Perch” I decided to show my “Three Harpies” image.
Three raucous beings perching at dusk gave a delicious menace to the evening.
Listening to them I knew what they were.
Roseate Cockatoos which once were named Galahs
Here are some looking for grain seeds on the ground.

Late again because I have been away from my computer.
I’ve been doing touristy things in and around my own town with my daughter and her family.
Grand-children are fun. Especially when they are in their teens and the world is all there for them.
Here is a photo of camera shy grand-daughter trying hard not to look cute!
And trying not to laugh because I had just made a horrendous pun.
