Friday Foto Finder; Symmetry

I spend an unseemly amount of time gazing skywards.
When I am in my city (Perth) it is an enlightening habit.
Street level is so glassily repetetive
But up above is often the original beauty of the building.
And so often there is unexpected Symmetry to be seen.

Friday Foto Finder; Music

One evening about a year ago I was sitting in a vinyard.

In front of a temporary covered stage.

Waiting for the music to begin.

As darkness fell, Cliff Richard appeared and the music began.

Friday Foto Finder; Ants

Ants do not just scuttle along the ground and onto tables where there is a little food.

They also climb trees.

This little ant was climbing a “paper-bark” tree – a Melaleuca.

There was actually a row of ants on this 20 foot vertical trail but there was a separation of around a foot between each ant. Most strange.

Friday Foto Finder; Biggest Leaf

The biggest leaf I most commonly see is also my most hated leaf.

The Castor Oil Tree.

Poisonous and spreading in weed-like profusion, it is a constant battle to keep under control!

Friday Foto Finders; Prey

Of all the types of Prey in the world we often forget the most preyed upon of all life forms.

The poor defenceless vegetation of the world.

My capsicums are unfairly preyed upon by nasty evil little insects and scales.
