This is not a photograph of a landscape.
It is a photograph taken looking down a bank, the green bit, at water in a river.
Yet there are only two obvious clues that this is so.
The tree branches on the left which can be seen to be a reflection.
And the strangely misshapen bird on the right.
Knowing the what the photo IS and seeing what it looks like
is STRANGE!

I know, I know! Why not just use “Fisher”?
Because I was doing a crossword and I found “Piscator”.
Anyway, I searched high and low in my photo archive and could not find a single fisherman.
So I chose this image of a deprived fisherman in the desert, desperately casting over a dry salt lake.
Then I realised that not all fishers are human.
So here is a genuine Piscator.
